Fantastic review of Love Mommy in Savvy Mom

I want to congratulate Sarah Morgenstern and her beautiful website Savvy Mom. She did a fantastic piece on the book "Love Mommy" in her current issue of the ever popular, and really excellent magazine for Savvy moms. Check out the link at www.savvymom.ca. Her piece is called "A Little Note Goes A Long Way." Also check out the rest of her website, it is so current and she really has her fingertips on the pulse of everything new and cool for moms.
A Little Note Does Go a Long Way. Think back to the summer and record some of your child's highlights for them. If your child is older have them do a top ten list on the computer, and save it, and you can add some of your impressions at the end. Try the Magic Key, kids love it and so will you!

P.S. Just click on the headline (in pink), "Fantastic Review of Love Mommy in Savvy Mom" to see the article.

Where has the Summer Gone and How to Make it Live On!

Can you believe that September is almost here. I just wrote a Back to School column and realized that August is almost over, the bees are here, summer camp is over, we are all trying to squeeze as many vacation days in, and pretending that the slight change in the weather is not really happening. We can still wear sandals and open toed shoes and tank tops, white is still okay for a few more weeks. But the reality is the summer is almost over and so why not write about your summer and your child's summer and you will enjoy those words once the cold wind starts to blow again. Also, to prepare your child for Back To School, have them tell you about their highlights this summer and write them down, and then write down your memories of their top highlights from your perspective and then when homework is piling up and there's lots to and you need to take a mental break, you can re-read some of the letters. Pack some lunch box love notes in their lunches or knapsack for their first day back and keep the best memories of the summe alive by writing about them. Don't forget to check out my book Love Mommy: Writing Love Letters to Your Baby, available in all major bookstores and at Amazon Books. com.
Do you have any great memories about your babies or your children that took place this summer? I'd love to hear about them.
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
