Sugar Plum Fair with my Sugar Plum Fairy

Today, my daughter and I held hands while we watched a rehearsal of the Nutcracker at the National Ballet of Canada. It was one of those yummy moments where I didn't know where to look first, on the stage at all of those beautiful dancers or at my precious daughter beside me, sharing in this incredible moment together. Moments are what make relationships even more special than the natural love and adoration you feel for your child. But in recognizing the moments, capturing them in some way, and not just reacting to life, but reflecting and then "highlighting" the blissful times, makes us appreciate our relationships even more and be even more grateful. It also helps us to really appreciate each incredible moment as it happens. Some days are all about homework, and getting to school on time and getting to this activity or program on time. And even those days have special moments. Write them down. Record them into a tape recorder. Tap away at your computer and type them in a file for posterity.
