Mommies who Meditate, yummy mummies and yoga and de-stressing for moms

I am a yoga girl. I love all types of yoga. I started out with this great yoga teacher whom I studied with for years and used to practice Hatha Yoga with him and I always said that after class I felt like I'd drank a bottle of wine without the wine. Then 15 years later, I moved to Bikram and Moksha Yoga, which I love. But lately, I have begun studying Ashtanga yoga, and this is truly a love affair. Yoga is good stuff, and living your yoga is even better. Yoga is great for moms because it is de-stressing and a chance to really re-charge and meditate on all the joys and blessings in your life and take a step off the treadmill into a little bit of heaven. Dear Judy:
You sound like my kind of friend. Yoga, yoga and more yoga is my motto. When I am stressed with my kids all I can think about is how I need to get my yoga in there to realign and centre my self again so that I can be a good Mom. There is nothing more exhausting than being a Mom and I agree that this is an effective way of recharching your spirit and while your at it you end up with a strong , flexible body and mind.
